Jennifer Lopez

JenniferJennifer dreamed of all her life to be a multitasking celebrity. In her youth she was a fan of a range of musical genres, mainly Afro-Caribbean music like salsa, merengue and bachata, and popular music such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. She was a big fan of films and music. The most influential film she was influenced by was the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer, besides being an entertainer, as well as a Catholic schoolgirl, attended eight years of Holy Family Catholic Middle School located in The Bronx. After completing an entire four-year period in the Bronx, she graduated from Preston High School, an all-girls preparatory school. Jennifer excelled in athletics during her time at school, and was a champion in the track and field as well as tennis. Jennifer spent the majority of her time raising her children in a two-story home located in the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer moved out of her parents' house at age 18 and moved out. In the meantime, Lopez worked at a law firm while she took dancing jobs at night.
