Allison Williams
Allison Howell Williams, born 13th April 1998 in the US, is an actress and producer. Her name has been referred to as"a "horror queen" by media outlets for her horror film work. Her first role was as Marnie in the comedy-drama series HBO's Girls (2012-17), for which she was awarded an award from the Critics' Choice Award. Her big break came when she played the role of Rose Armitage in the horror film Get Out (2017), that earned her nominations from The MTV Movie Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards among others. Her next roles were in horror movies The Perfection (2018 and M3GAN 2022) as well as M3GAN 2022 which she co-produced. Williams was raised and born in New Canaan (Connecticut), the daughter of ex-NBC Nightly News host and editor Brian Williams, and television producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. Williams is the older sibling of Stoddard and Williams. Williams was educated at Greenwich Academy and New Canaan Country School. Then, she went to Yale University majoring in English as well as being a member of Morse College and the St. Elmo secret society. As a student in New Canaan, Williams worked in the Ralph Lauren outlet store. Williams was a part of the troupe improv comedy Just Add water for a period of four seasons and appeared for the YouTube series College Musical. Sam Tsui starred in the film and Kurt Hugo Schneider was its director. They both attended Yale. She graduated with a bachelor's in English at Yale in the year 2010.
